Esta entrada también está disponible en: Spanish, Catalan

The Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) at the Universitat Jaume I, attached to the Communication and Publications Service, has produced six videos designed to foster scientific vocations, to raise awareness of the importance of the contribution of science in the progress of society and to promote some of the research groups of excellence at the University, such as the group of Experimental and Computational Economics at the Faculty of Law and Economics.
Audiovisual productions are part of the project “We do excellent science. Audiovisual promotion of high-performance research groups at the Universitat Jaume I” developed through the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and the companies Facsa and Iproma from Gimeno Servicios group.

The project has been completed with the production of 15 videos of scientific vocabulary in which concepts related to the research work of each of the groups are explained. Thus, the members of the group of Industrial and Experimental Economics explain the terms systemic risk, Nash equilibrium, decision making under uncertainty and probability weighted function. In order to promote accessibility for all people and the internationalization of the videos, all audiovisual products are subtitled in Spanish for the deaf and hard-of-hearing and in English.
