What kind of videos can I find in Ciència UJI TV and how are they structured?
The Ciència UJI TV videoblog includes both self-produced videos by the Communication and Publications Service from the Universitat Jaume I, and content issued by the University institutes and teaching staff, news disseminated by third parties related to science and innovation on campus and audiovisual material related to science that we consider to be interesting for the university community and the general public.

The contents are grouped into three sections. Science news includes news, features and interviews related to research results, and information on topical issues addressed by UJI researchers. In the category Diffusion of science there are videos for the popularization of science to be used in the pre-university and university levels, introductory videos of the UJI research groups and institutes, special videos on international years, videos about the possible outputs in the field of research for each of our academic degrees, abstracts of scientific conferences or congresses held at the University, and so on. Finally, Training in science communication includes training videos on how to communicate and disseminate science addressed to the researching staff.

I can not see the subtitles
Each video is subtitled for deaf and hard-of-hearing people in Catalan and in Spanish. In addition, the videos in the English version of the videoblog have subtitles in this language.
The subtitles can be activated by clicking on the icon at the lower right-hand corner of the video.

I am a journalist and I am interested in using a video and contacting the research team
The videos produced by the Communication and Publications Service can be used with attribution. If you need a specific format, you can request it to the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit through ucc (at) uji.es. Likewise, you can use this email to get in touch with the people responsible for video production or with the researchers, and also to get more information.

Why some of the videos are not available in all three languages?
The Communication and Publications Service performs only Catalan and Spanish versions and subtitles into English of self-produced videos. In the case of material produced by others, we do not consider it appropriate to add subtitles or to create new versions. We do offer the explanatory text of the video in the three languages, along with an indication of what is the original language of the audiovisual.
