Registration

The conference is open to scholars, students, professionals and the general public. This includes academics, language service providers, law-enforcement officers, migrant practitioners, educators, policy makers, and language and culture planning and normalization technicians.

Registration can be completed on-line.

 

Conference Fees

  • General Rate: 120 € (from March 1st, 2017)
  • Early Registration Rate for attendees: 70€ (until March 1st, 2017). Due to the system malfunctioning on March 1st, early-bird registration has been extended until March 8th, 2017. Sorry for any inconveniences.
  • Authors and speakers: 120 € (between October 15th and December 1st, 2016)
  • UJI staff: 50 €
  • Students and unemployed: 25 €  (please provide documentary proof; students duly enrolled at UJI at the time of registration do not need to provide any documentation)

To register and pay online for the conference, our Registration Portal will give access to all necessary steps between October 2016 and May 2017 (please see rates and discount periods). Upon receipt of the completed registration form and full payment, a confirmation will be sent.

All attendees, whether presenting or not, must register for the conference. The conference registration fee includes attendance for the registrant at all sessions, presentations, workshops, and meetings, and refreshment breaks. E-proceedings will be provided on the first day of the conference to all registered speakers and attendees.

A conference dinner will be held on May 11th. Further information will be published in this website shortly.

 

Conference cancellation policy

Any cancellation or change in conference registration must be submitted in writing to the Department of Translation and Communication Studies. Cancellations are possible on or before March 10th, 2017. Thereafter, no refund will be given; however, a registration may be transferred to a substitute participant.
