Professor De Mori visited us
As announced, Professor De Mori gave us the talk “Spoken Language Understanding and Language Model Adaptation in Continuous Space” on 8th March. And María José Castro has asked me to publish this picture from the talk, so this is what I am doing.

Renato De Mori, Professor of Computer Science at the Université d’Avignon (France) and at the McGill University (Canada), will give us the talk “Spoken Language Understanding and Language Model Adaptation in Continuous Space”. The talk will be given in the Sala de Juntas of the Departamento de Sistemas Informáticos y Computación, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, next Thursday 8th March, at 12:30. Invited talk
Volkmar Frinken, now working at the CVC at Autonomous University of Barcelona, will give us the talk “Semi-Supervised Learning and Keyword Spotting for Handwriting Recognition”. Juan Miguel Vilar will present the STATE system at the Institute of New Imaging Technologies (INIT) at Universitat Jaume I. The talk will be given in the Multimedia Room (TI1021SM) of the INIT next Friday 17th June, at 12:00. More information here.
A new short video of our system
In the Videos page, we added a new STATE video last week, now with music! In less than seven minutes, the system is presented along with its newest feature: speech-aided correction of transcriptions.
