{"id":73,"date":"2023-07-31T18:37:38","date_gmt":"2023-07-31T16:37:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.uji.es\/irs\/?page_id=73"},"modified":"2023-08-02T08:30:52","modified_gmt":"2023-08-02T06:30:52","slug":"simbaad-project","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uji.es\/irs\/projects\/simbaad-project\/","title":{"rendered":"SIMBAAD Project (2020-2022)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SIMBAAD is a &#8220;Science for Peace&#8221; Project, which stands for &#8220;Integrated System for Monitoring and Searching of Aquatic Threats for Defense&#8221;, having as goal helping in the detection of underwater mines, so that the sea can be a safer environment, avoiding exposure of humans to explosions while deactivation. The project has been jointly performed by the University of Balearic Island, UTEK, Narwhal, and the Jaume I University (IRSLab), with the funding and collaboration of the Spanish Government.
