Bel\u00e9n\u00a0P\u00e9rez\u00a0Senra, Universidad Jaume I,<\/strong> Castell\u00f3n, Espa\u00f1a<\/p>\n

Una int\u00e9rprete de lengua de signos en la sala de un tribunal tiene la funci\u00f3n de asegurar la accesibilidad de la informaci\u00f3n y la comunicaci\u00f3n a una o varias personas sordas. En la sala, se encuentran personas oyentes y sordas que pueden vivir en un mismo pa\u00eds, compartir una cultura, pero que tienen lenguas distintas y rasgos sociol\u00f3gicos dispares, desconocidos en su mayor\u00eda para oyentes, incluidos los que ostentan el poder en la situaci\u00f3n comunicativa. Adem\u00e1s, la informaci\u00f3n es normalmente transmitida por medios audiovisuales a los cuales la comunidad sorda tiene dificultades de acceso, una complicaci\u00f3n que se une a la especificidad de normas y lenguajes de un tribunal, desconocidos para los ciudadanos en general y tambi\u00e9n para la comunidad sorda. En esta contribuci\u00f3n, analizo, desde mi experiencia profesional como int\u00e9rprete judicial de lengua de signos en tribunales de la Comunidad Valenciana, qu\u00e9 diferencias entre la lengua minorizada de signos y la mayoritaria oral no son tenidas en cuenta por los agentes jur\u00eddicos, incidiendo en los desequilibrios de poder.<\/p>\n
