Desde el a\u00f1o 2002, el Estado Peruano ha estado formando a traductores e int\u00e9rpretes ind\u00edgenas a trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n de Lenguas Ind\u00edgenas. Su tarea es facilitar la comunicaci\u00f3n entre la poblaci\u00f3n ind\u00edgena del pa\u00eds y las instituciones, luchando contra un contexto socio-pol\u00edtico marcado hist\u00f3ricamente por la marginaci\u00f3n y discriminaci\u00f3n de las lenguas y culturas ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n

Esta comunicaci\u00f3n se centrar\u00e1 especialmente en la funci\u00f3n que ejercen los int\u00e9rpretes ind\u00edgenas al garantizar a los hablantes de las lenguas minoritarias el acceso a la justicia. Antes de abordar de manera cr\u00edtica los desaf\u00edos a los que se enfrentan los profesionales e instituciones, se proporcionar\u00e1 informaci\u00f3n contextual relevante del Per\u00fa, se definir\u00e1 el marco legal de los servicios de interpretaci\u00f3n del espa\u00f1ol y de las lenguas ind\u00edgenas y se describir\u00e1 el programa de formaci\u00f3n establecido por el Estado. Concluir\u00e1 con algunas observaciones extra\u00eddas de la investigaci\u00f3n y el trabajo de campo que se realizaron en el Per\u00fa entre octubre de 2014 y junio de 2016 para un proyecto titulado \u00abTranslating Cultures: the legislated mediation of indigenous rights in Peru\u00bb (\u2018Traduciendo culturas: la mediaci\u00f3n legislada para los derechos ind\u00edgenas en el Per\u00fa\u2019), financiado por el Arts and Humanities Research Council (Reino Unido).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
