The University

The University of València was founded in 1499 and is one of the surviving medieval universities, those that existed in Europe during the Middle Ages. The king Jaume I authorized the establishment of studia generalia in the city in 1246, and its By-Laws were passed later in 1499.

The Law School can be found at the ‘Campus dels Tarongers’ (the orange tree campus). It hosts 5 undergraduate degrees, 11 MA degrees, and one doctorate program.

The conference will take place at the Graduation Hall, the board room Adolfo Miaja de la Muela, and the Joaquín Tomás Villarroya room.

Plane

València has one airport (VLC), which is connected by train to the city center. 

Train

Both regular and high-speed trains are available. The North Station and the Joaquín Sorolla Station will leave you at the city center.
