CALL FOR PAPERS
Due to a series of supervened circumstances, the celebration of the III International Conference Traductio et Traditio Mediaevales: didacticism in literature and the transmission of knowledge has been postponed to the 21st-23rd of September 2023. This third edition of the Conference, organised by the Research group for Interdisciplinary Medieval Studies (GREMI), from Universitat Jaume I of Castelló, will be held at the castle of Peñíscola, a privileged location for the celebration of any event dedicated to the Middle Ages:

For those interested in participating, the main lines of research for the Conference include:
- Exempla and didactic literature
- Religious and exemplary literature
- The Latin tradition in mediaeval literature and culture
- Anglo-Latin literature
- Material philology
- From the manuscript to the website
Contributions dealing with any other topic related to philology in the Middle Ages will also be welcomed by the Organising Committee. Proposals can be sent to congresgremi@uji.es until 21st March 2023, attaching the submission as a file document (preferably in Word or RTF formats) with the following information:
- Author
- Academic affiliation
- Phone number (optional)
- Title of the proposal
- Short abstract (100-200 words)
Participants will be invited to a 20-minute paper, which will be organised in sessions of one hour approximately, plus some extra time for discussion among participants and attendees (10 minutes approximately).
The registration fees will be the following:
- Early registration (until 20th June 2023): 100 euros
- Ordinary registration (after 20th June 2023): 130 euros
The registration fees for those who justify their condition of PhD students, grant holders or unemployed will be the following:
- Early registration (until 20th June 2023): 60 euros
- Ordinary registration (after 20th June): 90 euros
The main languages of the Conference will be Catalan, Spanish and English. Exceptionally, papers in other languages will be accepted provided the contents of the work require so.

NB: All participants will have a conference bus to make the trip to Peñíscola (Castelló, Spain) at their disposal. The bus leaves from Castelló to Peñíscola on the 20th of September and it returns to Castelló on the 23rd of September. Further details about the exact time and meeting place will be provided in due time, once the Conference programme has been conveniently arranged.
