Research Centre for Robotics and Underwater Technologies
The Universitat Jaume I’s Centre for Research in Robotics and Underwater Technologies (CIRTESU) was created in response to the need to give a definitive boost to R&D&I in the Valencian Community by generating new synergies between three interrelated areas: underwater robotics, aquaculture and the integral water cycle.
The CIRTESU develops national and European research projects, works in the training of new PhDs and participates in high-impact scientific publications.
The CIRTESU hosts students on internships and traineeships and is closely linked to several university degrees and masters.
The CIRTESU participates in scientific dissemination conferences, congresses and holds multiple open days to raise awareness of underwater robotics beyond the borders of the university.
