Research Centre for Robotics and Underwater Technologies
The Underwater Robotics and Technologies Research Center (CIRTESU) at the Universitat Jaume I was established in response to the growing need to boost R&D&I in the Valencian Community and to foster new collaborative synergies. In 2018, a consortium was formed between the Universitat Jaume I and the Institute of Aquaculture of Torre de la Sal (CSIC), with the participation of the IRS-Lab and two other UJI research groups: Design Engineering and Multiphase Fluids. The initiative aimed to create a shared structure with common resources to support experimentation across all areas related to the underwater environment.
