The firefighters of the rescue unit return to CIRTESU to perform a diving demonstration and fine-tune equipment for upcoming dives.

FEBRUARY 2024.

The water rescue unit of the Castellón fire brigade tests its new equipment in the CIRTESU tank. They also swim together with robots for the first time in this centre.

DECEMBER 2023.

The CIRTESU teams travels to PortSur at Castelló port to test the multibeam sonar that had been installed at the surface vehicle.

JULY 2022

The CIRTESU team travels to Cartagena, specifically to the military base, to present the SIMBAAD project and carry out collaborative experiments.

Students from different schools visit CIRTESU to see the facilities and learn more about underwater robotics

MAY 2022.

The CIRTESU group travels to the port of Burriana to carry out the first experiments with the surface vehicle that was being developed. The buoyancy and the wireless connections were tested.

MAY 2021.

The CIRTESU group travels for the first time to the port of burriana to put one of its robots in the sea water and make contact with the facilities. The robot used was the Seabotix, teleoperated.

NOVEMBER 2020.

The university press team, together with the directors of the research groups that make up the CIRTESU , make the first visit to the facilities and put a robot into operation for the first time inside the tank.
